Facebook Specific Information:


As operator of a Facebook page, we (Sprout Online Marketing) and the operator of the social network Facebook (Facebook Ireland Ltd.) are joint controllers pursuant to Art. 4 paragraph 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The controllers (1stcontroller: Facebook; 2ndcontroller: Sprout Online Marketing) process personal data when you visit our Facebook page. This policy describes which data is collected, how it is processed and which rights you have in this regard.  As operator of the Facebook page, we have entered into agreements with Facebook that define the terms for use of the Facebook page, among other things. They are based on the Facebook Terms of Service and on the Other Terms and Policies that are listed at the end of the Terms of Service.


The following statements apply to any advert, post or link made by us on Facebook.


  • When a user clicks one or our links, adverts, messages, posts or anything else by us that causes them to leave the Facebook platform, it is us and not Facebook who will be collecting your information.

IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?

Our servers are located in a CDN Server Network provided by our hosting service provider.  A content delivery network (CDN) refers to a geographically distributed group of servers which work together to provide fast delivery of Internet content.  A CDN allows for the quick transfer of assets needed for loading Internet content including HTML pages, javascript files, stylesheets, images, and videos. Today the majority of web traffic is served through CDNs, including traffic from major sites like Facebook, Netflix, and Amazon.


If you are a resident in the European Economic Area, then these countries may not have data protection or other laws as comprehensive as those in your country. We will, however, trust that our hosting service provider takes all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable law.
